Shared pathways of reflection and practice that nurture depth, community, and non-anxious presence.
One of our favorite questions to ask people is, “How do you feel about who you’re becoming?” If you’re like most people, it’s not the sort of question for which you have an answer at the ready, but it also instantly feels like it might be one of the most important questions worth asking. The fact of the matter is that we are constantly being formed because formation isn’t something we do, but something that happens to us because of what we do. Who we are becoming is the cumulative result of our environment, habits, thought life, decisions, and relationships. Tending to our formation is, by every meaningful measure, the highest calling any of us have.
Periodically, or on an as-requested basis, Via looks to create cohorts of leaders who desire to give some focused attention to their formation. These may meet in person or online, running for various lengths of time. They may be more general or could have a specific dimension of life in view. But no matter the format, duration, or focus, these cohorts provide leaders and teams with space and opportunity to engage in sustained reflection, to dialogue with peers about significant questions, and to tend to who you’re becoming at a soul level.

“Every time you make a choice you are turning the central part of you … into something a little different.”
C.S. Lewis
“The farther the outward journey takes you, the deeper the inward journey must be. Only when your roots are deep can your fruits be abundant.”
Henri Nouwen
